This website

The marketing site you are reading runs no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and sets no cookies. The only thing it stores is your light/dark theme choice, which lives in your own browser and never reaches us. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Your account

When you create a workspace we store your email address, a hashed password, and your workspace name. We use your email to operate the service — sign-in, security notices, and replies you ask for. We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party ad tech.

Telemetry you send

The logs, metrics and traces you send to Whale are yours. We process them only to provide the service — storage, search, alerting, and the features you use on them. Every row is scoped to your tenant, and access is authenticated by your API keys. Be aware that telemetry can contain personal data you put in it (for example, user IDs in your own logs); you are responsible for what you send.

You can export your data over the query API at any time. Deleting your account deletes your data, and you can request deletion earlier by contacting us — we honour it.

Where it lives

The service runs on cloud infrastructure operated for us by hosting providers; data is encrypted in transit. Enterprise plans can choose deployment location, including your own infrastructure.

Your rights, and reaching us

You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, export it, or have it deleted. Write to us and a human answers.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be announced to account holders by email. Whale is operated by the team at balajitech.xyz.
